After Kendrick Lamar’s scathing Super Bowl Halftime Show performance, we all thought we’d never hear from Drake again. Realistically, you’d probably crawl in bed and never leave if another rapper swept The Grammys with a diss track about you. But, where everyone else zigs, Drake zags, and he’s back in the spotlight.
The Canadian rapper was recently the featured bachelor on a YouTube dating show hosted by NELK, a Canadian-American content creator collective. The dating show featured twenty women, mostly OnlyFans models, all doing their best to win Drake’s affection. Appropriately called “Wife, Pipe, Bestie” the show had Drake narrow the field from twenty down to three - one to be his “Wife”, one to be his hook-up (“Pipe”) and one to be his friend (“Bestie”).
If there’s one thing Drake’s good at, it’s dating people and spoiling the hell out of them (yeah, his net worth is about $400 million). In the past he’s been with everyone from Kat Dennings, to Serena Williams and Rhianna.
So, who all was Drake deciding between? While he didn’t actually go on dates with all twenty women, there was no shortage of attractive OnlyFans models who got their moment alone with Drake.
Prolific names in the OnlyFans creator space like Lena The Plug, frequent “competitive sex” participant Lily Phillips, stunning blonde Toni Russo and goth creator Pinkchyu were all in the running, just to name a few. There was also a smattering of fellow rappers and influencers. Names like Paris Richards and Dank Demoss might be familiar to rap fans in the Toronto or Detroit area. Even if you’ve never heard of these rappers and creators before, trust that they’re worth a look and/or listen.
Who won what? Well, Jordyn Lucas, an Actress and TikTok star was crowned as Drake’s “Bestie”. Their connection was obviously a strong one, with Lucas posting this caption to Instagram: “My husband, my lover, my lifeline. I’ve waited my whole life for this moment & it’s been confirmed… we belong together. thank u for my BIRKIN & 25k dada man,” Lucas said, referring to the designer bag (made popular by fashion brand Hermes) and the $25,000 that Drake gifted her for being a finalist. Drake is a good friend to have, especially if he’s handing out twenty-five grand.
The prizes for the top three ladies grew more and more elaborate. Lena The Plug, winner of the “Pipe” (hook-up) title, also received $25,000. Oh, and a New Zealand vacation paid for by Drake. Insanity.
Perhaps the most viral moment on this dating livestream adventure occurred when Pinkchyu, the goth OnlyFans creator we mentioned above, had Drake bark like a dog on command. In retrospect, this was probably the moment where Pinkchyu won the whole thing. Drake has been down bad about goth girls for awhile now, so it’s no wonder he picked the busty goth cosplayer to be his “Wife”. After informing her she won, Drake said he would buy her anything in the world, and her choice was honestly so sweet. Pinkchyu, whose real name is Lin Lamar, chose to give her now-retired Mom a brand new house. Perhaps this selflessness is what attracted Drake to Pinkchyu in the first place.
This event was more than just a high-profile way for Drake to throw his massive sums of money around, it reflects where OnlyFans is at societally now. If this dating show aired ten years ago, the contestants’ backgrounds would look a lot different, but OnlyFans is the reason some of these performers are on the same level as Drake, just in a different line of work.
It remains to be seen if Drake and Pinkchyu’s romance will unfold in the public eye, but for now, we can just enjoy the awesome highlights from another successful, exciting OnlyFans-centric event.
