Well-Known OnlyFans Star Jailed

Legal troubles have continued for Israeli OnlyFans model Adva Lavie, as she was arrested last week for the third time in just a few months. 

The 29-year-old Lavie (who sometimes uses the stage name Mia Ventura) was remanded into custody after a Southern California judge ruled her a flight risk, arguing she has continuously violated terms of her previous releases.

Police arrested her in upscale Beverly Hills, California after Indio, California police put out an arrest warrant in Lavie’s name. Indio is home to one of the largest festivals, the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, where Lavie was captured on camera stealing thousands of dollars in luxury gear. The affidavit says Lavie stole more than $11,000 worth of luxury merchandise from a minimum of two individuals, including a highly valuable Rolex watch, designer brand sunglasses and a Louis Vuitton card holder. The charge from Indio police was coupled with an additional charge from the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, saying she was in violation of a court order.

Separate from her Coachella Festival charges, the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office says she’s stolen things from multiple men in the Los Angeles area. Allegedly, most of Lavie’s victims were rich older gentlemen she met on dating apps and sites. She would enter into a romantic relationship with them before stealing their money; in some cases she also stole gold and the luxury items mentioned above. She was charged in March of this year with residential burglary, theft and unlawful use of personal information. Lavie was granted conditional bail, requiring her to wear an ankle monitor. Lavie was also forbidden from traveling outside of Los Angeles County. 

Unfortunately for Lavie, she chose to violate this order more than once, claiming to have visited a restaurant in nearby Malibu, not knowing it was outside of Los Angeles County. After this, prosecutors were understandably frustrated and requested Lavie be taken into custody again, but the judge sided with Lavie and gave her a warning. 

The trouble Lavie has brought has even extended to her significant others. Lavie had been dating billionaire gubernatorial candidate Steven Cloobeck (a man 35 years her senior) who himself was arrested in May. The reason? Law enforcement officials have accused Cloobeck of witness tampering in Lavie’s case. According to close friends of the couple, they intended to get married in Jerusalem this summer (they’re both Jewish). Those plans have since been called off, with Cloobeck also no longer paying for Lavie’s legal expenses. 

With Lavie’s numerous bail violations, the judge has had enough. “She wants everything to happen on her own terms,” the judge said, adding that “nothing will ensure that she appears for trial anymore.” The gloves had finally come off and Lavie was remanded into custody. After the additional court order violations, Lavie has failed to show the court she takes them seriously, which could cost her some serious prison time. 

The charges for burglary, theft and unlawful use of personal information are serious charges. Coupled with her multitude of bail violations, Lavie could be facing at least 10 years in prison. 

As with any case in America’s legal system, Adva Lavie is presumed innocent until proven guilty. Given how much money one can make on OnlyFans, it’s a little surprising that a prolific creator like Lavie feels the need to *allegedly* steal other people’s money and belongings. But, OnlyFans creators are human, and Lavie isn’t even the first creator to be accused of a crime. Lavie will be back in court later this month, but until then, she’s in custody in Los Angeles County jail.
