You may have heard that OnlyFans is number one in the game for adult content, but the platform is pushing its boundaries in new, exciting ways as it forays into the world of fashion. So, if your wardrobe is in desperate need of an upgrade, keep reading and you just might find a worthy addition to your closet.
While OnlyFans has sold eye-catching merch for a while, its most recent collab with French designer Louis-Gabriel Nouchi is turning heads for its calculated simplicity and unique style. Founded in 2017 by the eponymous French fashion designer Louis-Gabriel Nouchi (LGN), the brand has become known for androgyny and thought-provoking collaborations, releasing clothing lines inspired by everything from literature to adult content websites. Each article of clothing is released with a “controlled defect”, making every piece unique in its own engaging way. LGN is hardly fast fashion, either. LGN employs luxury suppliers in the making of their fashionable garments, which are frequently featured at prestigious fashion shows around the world.
Louis-Gabriel Nouchi began his career at Vogue Paris and Raf Simons after graduating from the Cambre School of Visual Arts. Since starting LGN, the Parisian designer has been nominated for multiple fashion awards and has enjoyed plenty of success. Some of his pieces were even worn by famous actors Colman Domingo, Connor Storrie and Alexander Skarsgård. Nouchi has recently opened up an OnlyFans page of his own, giving subscribers a behind-the-scenes glance at what he gets up to. Expect to find everything from films to ASMR content, all aimed at giving you full access to the fashion world.
CEO of OnlyFans Keily Blair mentioned her company’s collaboration with LGN in a recent interview, saying,” LGN Louis Gabriel Nouchi’s collaboration with OnlyFans is unapologetically sexy and represents a bold but elevated step in the evolution of our fashion offering.” Blair also made mention of Louis-Gabriel Nouchi’s OnlyFans,” Louis has offered subscribers a window into his creative world, collaborating with creators and experimenting with different content forms. We’re excited that creators and fans alike can now get hold of pieces from the limited-edition collection themselves.”
Most people think OnlyFans is just a place for feet pics and other raunchy stuff, but the platform has been steadily branching out into the world of adult fashion for quite some time now. In the age of social media content moderation, many creators are seeing OnlyFans as a way to promote their brand authentically and with wider reach. Social media apps like Instagram and TikTok have algorithms that have become more and more restrictive, taking away crucial clicks for growing creators through burying or otherwise completely blocking their posts. Also, as of this writing, Instagram only allows a maximum of 20 photos per post and only recommends Reels to non-followers if they’re below 3 minutes long. This played a large part in Louis-Gabriel Nouchi’s decision to take the lion’s share of his content to OnlyFans. “For me, OnlyFans isn’t simply another social platform. It’s a creative space where I can experiment with different formats, collaborate with artists and develop the LGN universe without reducing everything to a single image or a few seconds of content. That’s incredibly valuable as a designer,” Nouchi said.
Not needing to think twice on whether or not something will be deleted by moderators or shunned by an algorithm is huge, especially in the high-pressure world of fashion. Louis-Gabriel Nouchi is the most recent example of high fashion collaborating with OnlyFans, but one can almost guarantee this won’t be the last time OnlyFans cooks up something like this. Subscription-based platforms like OnlyFans are allowing blossoming fashion luminaries and fans alike to feel connected, not restricted.
