When OnlyFans Becomes The Family Business

41-year-old Dean Byrne had been employed as an adult entertainer and stripper for a while by the time his son, Bray, became curious about his father’s line of work. After a bit of mentorship, the father-son duo began making content together and have since been riding the wave of whatever kind of attention comes their way.

Bray, who is only 18 years old, in typical stubborn young adult fashion, told his father he wanted to start an OnlyFans page right away. So, with his expertise in the adult biz, Dean figured he would use his son’s enthusiasm as an opportunity for mentorship. Almost like the “if they’re going to smoke/drink/party, I’d rather they do it under my own roof” approach that some parents take with their maturing teenagers. 

Dean said in an X post (formerly Twitter), “I kept it quiet as [I] didn't want him to be part of this life but it’s his decision and I support him 100%”. Bray Byrne’s mother passed away when he was young, which only brought Bray and his dad closer. Once you throw in the frequent gym workouts they take on together and the suggestive posts and videos they make on Instagram, it’s clear that these two are inseparable, and they take their lifestyle very seriously. 

Of course, when you’re related and you make content together, the internet is bound to have a wide range of opinions, but Dean and Bray are embracing the noise. They assure us they aren’t up to anything incestuous (though DM requests err on that side of things), just the occasional role play teasing and some foot stuff here and there. But the attention they’ve nevertheless received has resulted in some high profile collaborations and, you guessed it, lots of followers and cash.

While Dean’s been on OnlyFans for roughly five years (and has been frequently listed among the platform’s top creators), Bray has only been active since November of 2025, but you wouldn’t be able to tell judging by his follower count. Some 21,000 people now follow Bray. Nepotism or not, 21,000 followers in under a year is certainly impressive, and other creators have begun to take notice of Bray’s meteoric rise.

Though it was mostly just Bray and Dean in the beginning, Bray has begun to make his own friends (with the exception of some of his dad’s industry buds). The younger Byrne’s first collaboration was with Zak Blackman, an OnlyFans creator whose presence on the platform got him kicked out of the Royal British Navy. Still, Bray will always have gained his notoriety through the work he’s done with his dad; a sentence that is definitely going to make some people uncomfortable.

Online opinion of this unusual partnership ranges, but almost everyone is chiming in. One user wrote, “I don’t think it’s the best choice you could have made,” speaking about Dean’s decision to help his son start an OnlyFans. “I understand it was his request, but as a father, I would have fought to ensure he had a different future.” The user continued by acknowledging, “But that’s just my opinion.” 

Just like Bonnie Blue or Lily Phillips’ record-breaking romps, OnlyFans creators are lining up for their piece of the so-called “attention economy”. The adult industry is subject to lots of scrutiny anyways, and Dean and Bray Byrne prefer to run straight into it rather than dance around it. While the reviews of what the Byrne men are up to on OnlyFans continue to be a mix of disgust and confusion, there’s no arguing with the results and the life they’ve built for themselves on OnlyFans.
