85 Year-Old Actress Joins OnlyFans

There’s a new octogenarian in town on OnlyFans.

Donna Mills, an actress who gained widespread notoriety for her stint on Knots Landing, a highly successful soap opera that ran from 1979 to 1993. She portrayed Abby Cunningham, one of the show’s main antagonists - a role that Mills claims made people nervous to meet her in real life. “They were very trepidatious about what I was going to do,” Mills said of the people she interacted with while Knots Landing was airing in living rooms across the nation. This eventually led to her stepping away from acting and from Knots Landing, saying in part that, “It’s been too long. I’m not particularly happy with the way they’ve been writing Abby lately, She’s too soft. I’d like Abby to get back to her old self.” 

Aside from some TV movies and guest slots on popular shows (she won a Daytime Emmy for her work on General Hospital), Mills stepped away from acting after Knots Landing concluded. But now she’s stepping back into the spotlight by joining OnlyFans at age 85.

Mills joined forces with Andy Bachman to help make her fans aware of her move to OnlyFans. Bachman (who has been in the news himself lately) is the founder of Creators Inc., a company popular with influencers, actors, and everyone in between. Its mission? Helping anyone interested in online content creation maximize their profits online. Bachman explained why he’s so excited to be working with Mills, “This is not about changing who she is. It is about giving her longtime fans more access to the personality, style, and behind-the-scenes moments they already love.” He added, “Donna has always been fearless and ahead of her time. She told me, ‘YOLO - let’s do it,’ and that perfectly captures her attitude. She is approaching OnlyFans on her own terms and creating a space that feels authentic, personal and completely true to her.” 

Mills, similar to other actresses who’ve joined the OnlyFans space recently, doesn’t plan on sharing any X-rated content. Instead, she plans on allowing her biggest fans more access to her daily life. She envisions her account as a place where she can be authentically herself. 

“I’ve always appreciated the incredible support and encouragement I’ve received from my fans over the years. Social media has been a wonderful way to stay connected, but I’m excited to join OnlyFans because it offers the opportunity for a more personal and direct connection,” Mills said. “It’s simply another platform to spend quality time with the people who supported me throughout my career while staying true to who I am,” Mills concluded.

While OnlyFans mostly consists of adult content, you’ll find everything from marmots to G-rated “get ready with me” videos that you might even find on Instagram. The difference? OnlyFans doesn’t see itself as a censor, but rather a middleperson for any user’s financial success. OnlyFans takes its 20% cut of the profits and then steps aside, allowing whomever to share whatever they want (so long as it’s legal).

Mills isn’t the first actress-turned-OnlyFans star, either. Shannon Elizabeth, known for American Pie and Scary Movie, launched an OnlyFans account and earned $1.2 million in a week. Jaime Pressly, who won an Emmy for the sitcom My Name Is Earl, also reported a good chunk of cash from her joining the platform. 

Whether they join OnlyFans to share NSFW content or just to give fans a closer look at their day-to-day life, there’s a common thread here: independence. Shannon Elizabeth said of her career as an actress, “Other people controlled the narrative and the outcome of my career.” For years, these actresses have felt like they’re at the mercy of whatever Hollywood wants them to be. Now, for once, they can be themselves (and keep 80% of the profit).
